Artist of the month
HIGBY
Born in Germany and raised in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest, Higby is a self-taught artist whose work is characteristic of the changing seasons and the natural world around him.

Higby’s intense appreciation for the art of nature has enabled him to develop an artistic style which interlaces color, composition, design and organic elements from his surrounding environment.

He has a fine grasp of the nuances of floral imagery and utilizes to their greatest potential the techniques of embossing and hand embellishing. Currently, Higby is part of the Butler Design Studio.

Trend of the Month
SOFT, COOL, SERENE

Soft and soothing tones of blues and greens have been surfacing in the design industry. These cool tones are being blended with light cremes and small accents of midrange to dark browns.
